The Grass
Caden was playing in the playroom with one of our interns when he suddenly jumped up and exclaimed, "Go pee pee, fast." The intern replied, "O.K., go...the bathroom's right there" (pointing to the bathroom connected to the room they were in). Caden proceeded to run out of the room, down the hall, out the front door, through the porch door to the tree in the front yard. Keep in mind, Caden runs around naked so that potty experiences can be handled at a quick pace. Also, I should tell you that our "front yard" is surrounded by a concrete wall, therefore, no Africans can gawk at my naked child. Back to the story...next thing I know Caden has bent his knees slightly, thrust his hips forward, and is peeing in the grass at the base of our tree. Watching him through the window I asked, "Caden, what are you doing?" "Go pee pee, grass!" Oh of course, where else would a little boy go pee pee?!

That story cracks me up every time I hear it. =-) Oh the things little boys will say and do. =-)
Love ya bunches Caden!
Oh my goodness! I can't even tell you how hard I laughed! He's becoming more and more "African" by the minute. Love you gusy!
Hilarious! Sweet boy! Good story telling, Mom! Kelly
At least he goes! Rebecca is doing much better with the potty, too. Maybe we'll get to go to preschool after all!
Thank you for all the alphabet hints! We've been to Fisherprice website and she loved "typing" the letters! Such fun! Keep the ideas coming!
"Naked Potty Training". I'm telling you, it's da bomb! Trouble comes, however, when a certain special needs child trains later than most and insists on dropping his drawers on the kindergarden playground. His teacher wasn't very understanding when I refused to tell him he couldn't. I was just so thrilled he wasn't using his Pull-up, I didn't care where it was!
Yay for grass! And now the tree is Caden's right? Ask the dog.
Caden just brightened my day! That's hilarious, but atleast he's going.
Seems to me that I remember two little boys who used to jump out of the pool and water the grass and shrubs by the fence in the same way 20 or so years ago....Go, Caden, Go! (At least it wasn't in the pool!)
I just had to add, Pull-ups are a joke! Rebecca will tell me, "But you can tee tee and poo-poo in the pull up; that's what they are for!" We're doing the do or die panties all the time method now,.....and I am proud to say,.........having much success!
Thank you for Caden's funny story! I smile every time I think of it!
