Most people who read this are well aware of our truck situation, so I'm not gonna delve into those sordid details right now. The purpose of this post is to inform everyone that last night, April started having some pretty strong contractions. They were about 8 minutes apart and 20 seconds long. I'm no nurse, but even I know that this sort of thing is not good. Fortunately, our friend Edith IS a nurse, and she said pretty firmly that this is not good. We were scheduled to leave for Accra on November 5th to await the baby, but we're going to have to leave two weeks early, probably this coming Wednesday.
If you've been following our truck situation, then you are well aware that we don't need this right now, at all. We just have to accept that it is happening and deal with it. We've got an amazing support team in our teammates, fellow missionaries, our sponsoring church, our family, and of course our friends.
We would really appreciate your continued prayers. All of this is so much to take in all at one time, and we're struggling to deal with it all. Please pray for my beautiful, radiant wife and our unborn child. Pray for me that I will be strong in the Lord for them. Pray that we can, when this is all past, praise God and bring further glory to His name...

Just take it one day at a time. God is with us everyday.
Everything will fall into place and will be taken care of. Just take one thing at a time. =-)
We are all praying, will do what we can and you WILL get through all of this. You are both strong and this will make you stronger. Soon you will be able to enjoy this increased strength. Be patient and wait on THE LORD. =-)
We love you dearly,
Mom&Dad Gillespie
Love and prayers are going up for you everyday from all over the place. Know that we love you so very much! God bless you and keep you and hold you close to His heart and in the palm of His hand!
Praying for all four of you!
We don't like what "life gives" us sometimes but we know the "life-giver" can use it to His glory!
Love you much, Mom & Dad xoxo
(rabbit pics and caden vids please)
Oh you sweet kids...put your arms around each other and know that hug is from Aunt Jo.....it broke my heart when I heard about the truck, but I praised God that you were not in it Brett...it still makes me cry as I write this just at the thought...this is all such a shame, but this too will be worked out, and like April said,,,it is just a truck and not nearly as important as life, the blessing of that precious Caden and this new little soon to be here (by the way, I vote for 'girl' please...ha!).....and saving the dear souls of people in Africa....we are so proud of you and keep you in our prayers....I'm gonna have to pray for MORE protection around you and your possesions! Know that we love you deeply, Aunt Jo and Jim
