We Made It!

After a rough couple of days of travel and battling illness, we made it from Albertville to Paris to London to Accra. Here we were met by our teammates, David and Becky Reeves, as well as our team's new school teacher, Rachel Phillips. We were supposed to come in on the same flight as Rachel, but Caden caught a 24-hour stomach bug so we had to stay an extra night in Paris. Here are two pictures of our adventures: the first one is us in the Albertville train station with our stuff (only about half of it is pictured!), and the second is us trying to navigate the Paris train station, which was quite inconveniently out of baggage carts.
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for our comings and goings. We will be leaving Accra tomorrow and heading to Lome, Togo to get some visa stuff started. We will arrive at our new home in Kara on Wednesday, and we will resume our blogging sometime shortly after that. We love you all, may God bless you as He has us in our travels. It is through difficult times that we are refined into what God intends for us to be. Gloire a Dieu!

Dieu a bien de la chance de vous avoir a son service... Vos babages sont gros mais votre coeur et votre devouement sont encore plus grands...j'admire votre don de vous-meme.

I feel your pain in that photo with all that luggage trying to get on a train! You are in my prayers and thoughts and may God bless you with great strength and comfort and whatever else it is you need to get settled quickly and safely. (Notice, I did not put patience on the list...you'll get that without praying for it!)
Love you all three and I can't wait for those regular blogs to start agian!

I have to say I echo the Luchauers, April, you are the woman. I don't even try to do the backpack carrier, it could be to that ours' doubles as the diaper bag and was stuffed to the gills when I tried. You guys are in our prayers! We started a new prayer board in the kitchen over the kitchen table and you guys are there being prayed over all the time. God bless you guys!

So April pulls the bags while carrying Caden...I guess it takes both hands to take the picture.

As I was thinking about your journey to Togo, Steven Curtis Chapman's old classic 'The Great Adventure' started playing in my head. I think b/c that song always got me pumped up and knowing that ya'll are finally there makes me ecstatic.
