First, he agreed to help me empty the laundry basket once a week...

Then he thought he could help me put sheets on the beds...
Caden decided that he wanted to try vacuuming and discovered that he loves it!
The best part of his new year's resolutions is that he is constantly wanting to help clean the dishes. He's become Mommy's little helper.
And then....he decided he didn't need Mommy's help and he could do the dishes all by himself!
Don't worry...in Togo, child labor laws don't apply.

Oh I've been so behind in reading and these were wonderful posts to catch up with!! I especially love the tree and it is not unlike ours...being newly married didn't allow us much of a budget for a tree either...but we did what we could and I imagine you know the joy of that! I pray you are all well and enjoying your last days in France. Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year!
Just pray that he keeps on liking to do those domestic kinds of things when he is olds enought to do them well by himself! How much loner til you leave for Togo?
WEDNESDAY!!!
so do you think on your way to Togo you could make a stop off in Bolivia so that Caden could share his new found love for chores with Nathan? he's got quite a ways to go :)
Caden,
Papa has always been a big help around the house and I know your Daddy is too. So you are the 3rd generation of men who knows how to woo and win their women...just by helping!
hugs, Gamma xoxoxo
My mom always said that she had kids so she didn't have to clean house anymore. I guess Caden started early. :)
May God keep you safe as you travel to Togo.
What a helper you have...pray that God will sustain this helpfulness for many many years!
Smart kid! Hayley is like that as well - sometimes she does more harm than good but I try not to let her know that.
Hope you had a safe trip to Togo.
