We got a special package in the mail this week from our sweet friends on our Mission Committee (Thanks Arlene!) So, Caden got to have a second party of opening up presents. There were three birthdays in this box: mine, Caden, and Corban's. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of me opening my presents (although I did enjoy the anticipation of what was beneath the wrapping) and Corban will have to wait until his birthday at the end of this month. On to the pictures....

Yes, Caden built that all by himself.
And then little brother came and destroyed it and he had to start all over. These blocks continue to be a source of competition between the boys. Quite entertaining to watch.

I love the intense look of consentration on Caden's face and the mischievious look of "ha-ha, I-got-one-of-the-blo-cks" on Corban's.

Mom & Dad, keep the ref whistle & boxing gloves handy... as well as whatever meds work for sore stomach muscles from long hours of nonstop laughter. This is a great time of life. Drink it all in!!
Woo hoo for packages from home! And there is not much better than a good set of blocks. I echo Nanna and Gran'pa about the ever changing dynamics between our little guys :) Grant's starting to crawl and poor Nathan's world is changing. But the moments in the morning when he comes in wanting to wake up brother to play (don't think I'm crazy and let him :) make all the "mine-ness" fade into the background :) Have fun!
