Can you call it playdough if it doesn't come in a Playskool can? We do. My mom had given me several recipes for homemade playdough and I finally made some for Caden. I tried to make it blue...but it came out more of a light aqua color. This was Caden's first time to see playdough, so he doesn't know any different. He LOVED it! We have played with it almost everyday and he always throws a fit when it's time to put it away. His current favorite thing to do is to take a rolled ball of playdough and squish it between his hands/fingers. So fun!

How cute! He does look like he's loving it! Looks like you're loving being a mother, too!
Love you all!
Hey April! Sounds lots of fun. I need the recipe! :)
I remember that my Mom always used to make us homemade play-doh too! I think besides the fact that we loved making it with her... she knew that when (I say when and not if) we ate it, she at least knew what had gone into it :)
Here is a link to different types of edible playdoughs- FUN - http://www.thefamilycorner.com/family/kids/crafts/edible_play_dough.shtml
Not sure if you can get all the ingredients in Africa though!
FYI...calling it "playdough" is totally fine. The restriction's only on "Play-Doh". I think you're good to go.
Actually, you may trade mark your spelling before it's too late!
