Don't feel too bad for Brett, this was already party #2 for him. His mom threw him a surprise party while we were visiting Nashville back in April and invited family and friends. Friendship, cake, and presents were all shared. A side note for those of you who have not looked at the calendar yet....Brett's birthday is 7-7-77.....this year it's on 07-07-07 and his is turning 30. Brett says he doesn't feel old yet, but when he can't do what he wants on the basketball court then he will acknowledge that he is getting old.Cute 4th of July Little Boy

It's pretty amazing that our baby is turning "30"!!! And here you are standing there with your sweet baby Caden and the new one to come!!! It is enough to make me cry (but then you're used to that)!!!

Brett, I would caution against using deminishing skill on the basketball court as a sign of aging yet to come. My former boss has now retired 3 times, is 67 yrs old and still plays 3-on-3 every week. His teammates are about the same age, his competition ranges your age, maybe slightly higher. My bosses team is usually on the winning side of the score!!
Talent/skill on the basketballl court is not a dependable guage for aging.
I also know an 83 yr old lady hear at Faulkner that shows no immediate signs of slowing down - she still works full time and that work involves travel - she is a cancer survivor too!
Aging is all in the heart and mind!!!
