Winter In July
I went to my first huge consignment sale this week with my sister-in-law, Sarah. Since we haven't experienced winter in 4 years, we're a little low on fall/winter clothing. I was hoping to at least find the boys some winter coats for a decent price. I succeeded and found one for each of them. Today I had them try them on and they were so excited! It was just another dress up/costume item to them.
And then, Corban refused to take his off. I decided he would eventually get too hot and take it off on his own. We went about our day: watching a little TV, playing with lacing cards, etc. and here's Corban with his winter coat zipped up to his chin and the hood still on. I finally decided to fight the battle and peeled the coat off of him revealing a slightly sweaty body. Let's hope he keeps that love for his new coat and we don't have fights to put in on in a few months.

Too funny! We just bought Caleb a fall coat (light jean jacket) and he is in love with it. He insisted on wearing it today while out to lunch with his grandparents. Then once home he insisted on wearing it while riding his bike....he quickly got hot while bike riding and peeled it off! Guess I am going to have to hide it for a few months! Winter will be fun for the boys...have they either every seen snow?
Are you guys in Memphis now? We'd love to have you guys over for a meal and catch up sometime soon. Shoot me an email when you get a chance and I'll give our phone number so we can connect :)
