Missionary Kid #2

Check it out! Corban has a passport and his birthplace says GHANA. I still can't believe he was born in Africa!
I always think that baby passports are so funny. You do your best to get a picture of your newborn with his eyes open and looking at the camera. Also, he doesn't have to get a new one until he is 5 years old...how would anyone recognize him at 5 by this picture?! When filling out the application we had to guess on his hair and eye color.
Oh the adventures of a missionary kid....

Before you know it, you will be adding pages to his passport like you had to with Caden's. =-) Oh how time will fly, cherish ever moment.... but I know the two of you will. =-)
Love you bunches,

Nathan's is the same way since we had to take his picture almost right after he was born to get the process started before we left the states. He's totally snoozing in his picture and it cracks up the immigration people everytime we travel :) God bless you guys!

Hahah!! This is awesome! I always wondered how that worked with kids having passports. I never knew it was after they were 5. I guess it makes sense. Great pic, guys!

We're counting down the days until we can see you again. Woot!!

When we went to Colorado at Christmas, I had to vouch for Joe because his driver's license picture has NO hair and now his hair is longer than mine so every one in security did a double take when they looked at it and him...it's pretty funny! He did have to get a new passport photo taken for a new passport to go to China to see Luke, so he shouldn't have a problem there. Now he's just waiting on his visa to come back.
You are right, though, it'll be interesting as he grows older to see security look at the photo and then look at a 3 or 4 or 5 year old!
